MTD Fun Run 2025

These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern participation in the MTD Fun Run 2025 (“Event”), organised by MTD Capital Berhad’s Real Estate and Property Division (MTD Properties) (“Organiser”). By registering and participating, all participants agree to abide by these T&Cs.

1. Organiser

1.1. The Organiser reserves the right to amend these T&Cs or the Event details at any time without prior notice, provided such amendments are published on the Organiser’s official channels.

1.2. The Organiser shall have full authority to interpret these T&Cs, and all decisions made by the Organiser in relation to the Event shall be final and binding.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The Event is open to all Malaysian citizens and residents aged seven (7) years and above.
2.2. Children aged twelve (12) years and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
2.3. Registration is mandatory. All participants must complete the online registration form and, on the day of the Event, verify their attendance with valid identification at the registration counter before the run begins. Failure to comply will result in ineligibility to participate.
2.4. Participation is free of charge.

3. Run Kit Collection

3.1. Each registered participant is entitled to a run kit consisting of a T-shirt, bag, and other items as announced.

3.2. Participants may register multiple family members under a single online registration form. In such cases, only one (1) run kit will be issued for the entire registration. Each individual will only be entitled to a run kit if registered separately under their own registration form.

3.3. Run kits must be collected at the following location and within the designated collection period:
Venue: MTD Properties Sales Gallery, Taman Sutera, Kajang
Dates: 29 October 2025 (Wednesday) – 31 October 2025 (Friday)
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. daily.

3.4. No Run Kit collection will be entertained after the collection deadline (31 October 2025 at 5.00pm).

3.5. Run kits will not be issued after the designated collection period.

3.6. Participants must present their confirmation slip or NRIC for verification during collection.

3.7. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse issuance of run kits to participants who fail to provide the required documents.

3.8. Participants who are unable to collect their run kit in person may authorise a representative to collect on their behalf. The appointed representative may collect up to five (5) run kits, including their own if registered.

3.9. No late collection will be entertained. Run kits not collected within the collection period will be deemed unwanted, and the Organiser reserves the right to dispose of or redistribute them.

3.10. Failure to collect a run kit will not affect eligibility to participate in the Event, provided the participant has successfully registered attendance under Clause 2.3.

4. Event Details

4.1. The Event will be held on 1 November 2025 (Saturday) at Taman Sutera, Kajang.

4.2. The flag-off time is 7:00 a.m. Participants are advised to arrive at least 45 minutes earlier for attendance registration and warm-up.

4.3. Registration and attendance verification must be completed before the flag-off time. Failure to register before the flag-off will result in ineligibility to participate. Late attendees are allowed to join the run once it has commenced.

4.4. The Event is a 5-kilometre fun run, non-competitive in nature.

5. Event Rules & Safety

5.1. Participants must follow the designated route and instructions from marshals, volunteers, and Event officials. The Organiser shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising if a participant chooses to leave or deviate from the designated route.

5.2. The use of bicycles, skates, skateboards, scooters, or any other wheeled devices (except wheelchairs) is strictly prohibited.

5.3. Pets are not allowed on the running route or within the Event course area.

5.4. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any participant who behaves inappropriately, endangers others, or fails to comply with Event rules.

5.5. The Organiser will provide basic first aid support, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own health and safety.

5.6. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions or health issues join the Event entirely at their own risk. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from such conditions, beyond the provision of basic medical aid available at the Event site.

5.7. Participants are advised to consult a medical professional prior to the Event if they are unsure of their fitness to participate.

6. Medals & Recognition

6.1. All participants who successfully complete the run within the stipulated time will receive a finisher medal.
6.2. Medals must be collected on-site immediately after completion and will not be posted or delivered.
6.3. Only participants who register attendance under Clause 2.3 and complete the run are entitled to medals.

7. Personal Data Protection

7.1. By registering for the Event, participants consent to the collection, retention, use, and disclosure of their personal data by the Organiser and its subsidiaries for the purpose of managing the Event, including communications via email, SMS, direct mail, or telephone.
7.2. The Organiser may appoint third parties to process personal data on its behalf, subject to strict contractual obligations.
7.3. Participants have the right to withdraw consent, request correction or updates, or raise queries regarding the processing of their personal data, and may exercise these rights by contacting the Organiser at [mtdproperties.comms@gmail.com].
7.4. By participating in the Event, participants consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded during the Event, and agree that such images, recordings, or likeness may be used by the Organiser for promotional, publicity, or marketing purposes in any media without further notice or compensation.

8. Amendments, Postponement & Cancellation

8.1. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Event details, including date, time, and venue, or to cancel the Event in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
8.2. In the case of cancellation, the Organiser shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience suffered by participants.
8.3. Any changes will be communicated through the Organiser’s official website and/or social media channels.

9. Governing Law

9.1. These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
9.2. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
